Mr Lasantha Jayathilake

Secretary

I am Lasantha Jayathilake, and I am working in the Data centre industry as the Head of Engineering Services & Production at Stulz Modular Ltd, UK. (Marine Engineering - IET Sri Lanka,  MBA Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK.) My purpose in practicing Buddhism is to become a more mindful and compassionate person, grounded in clarity and wisdom. The Buddha’s teachings help me face life’s challenges without taking them personally, offering a balanced perspective on both success and failure. I try to apply these teachings in everyday life to cultivate inner peace, resilience, and greater awareness in all that I do.

Mr Tilak Dilhan Anthony

Mr Tilak Dilhan Anthony

Trustee

My name is Tilak and I am a business accountant and consultant (BSc, University of East London). As a practicing Buddhist myself, I want to help cultivate the society for the benefit of the next generations. Ever since I was a child, I have routinely started my day by reciting the dhamma, followed by 10 minutes of meditation. Thus, I have seen how Buddhism has transformed my life. When I first moved to Oxford, almost 20 years ago, there were very few who practiced Theravada Buddhism, and so I would like to spread awareness of the life-changing qualities of Buddhist practices as part of the noble mission.
