Rains Retreat (Vassa Invitation) 2025

As per Theravāda tradition, Buddhist Saṅgha disciples would observe the rains retreat when the environment is entering the rains; whilst spreading compassion and loving kindness towards the whole nature, this time is particularly dedicated for learning and practicing the Dhamma - to attain the supreme bliss of peace and freedom, aka Nibbāna. For the sake of ascension of everyone’s spirituality, you are all invited to join us in this mindful event!

This special day of spiritual reflection will include parallel programmes for adults and children, involving: 

• Observance of Ațasil (Eight Precepts) 

• Dhamma talks and discussions led by members of the monastic Saṅgha

• Sitting and walking meditation sessions to deepen mindfulness and awareness

• Rains Retreat (Vassa) Invitation Ceremony and Buddhist chanting
