About the event

We warmly invite you all for our first mindfulness meditation session of 2025!


Throughout our sessions in 2024, we had delved into the first foundation of mindfulness, focusing on the Contemplation of Body (kāyānupassanā). We will now bridge this further by moving into the second foundation of mindfulness.


In this session, we will learn about the contemplation of feelings (Vedanānupassanā) based on 'The Greater Discourse on the Foundations of Mindfulness' (Mahā-Satipațțhāna Sutta) as part of mindfulness practice in everyday life. We will also practise loving-kindness (Mettā) followed by mindfulness of breathing (Ānāpānasati), and end with a Q&A session.


In all, we will offer you a springboard to thrive in awareness for a healthy, joyful, and peaceful life for this year and beyond.


This event will be organized by the Oxford Buddhist Society in collaboration with the Oxford Postgraduate Society.


NB: Our sessions are entirely free out of loving-kindness and compassion!
